Watch Me Grow...

Lorelei in her Daddy's white shirt tradition...

Happy 10th Lorelei

Oh Lorelei. There are no words to describe how much you mean to our hearts. The way you strive to be strong and patient. The way you make our hearts happy with the things you say and do. How you act like you are your parents' peer and we can talk about so many things.
You are a huge helper and example to every member of our family. So smart and beautiful in every way. We hope to be you when we grow up.
Happy 10th Birthday, Lorelei. We love you the mostest.

Christmas 2013

Christmastime!
Olaf the Elf joined us for the first time this year, doing silly things all over the house. He was their to witness as to whether the kids would be good enough to get Christmas presents this year to report back to Santa.
He was also a witness to the happenings and some of the shenanigans in our lives at that time.
Including, but not limited too:
Cole's first sprained foot. He was an excellent patient!

Leaving the house in our pajamas to get hot chocolate and search around the city for awesome Christmas lights.

Preparing for Lorelei's Christmas concert and hearing "Carole of the Bells" over and over and over... thank heaven it's a beautiful song and she was wonderful at it.

And Christmas morning. We were so busy videotaping that not many pictures were taken. Didnt't realize that until much later, sadly.
But our little family had the best time together, making our own traditions and memories. Without a shadow of a doubt, these darlings appreciate every single little thing they receive. It makes Christmas that much more so special.

Utah Trip for Emma's Blessing

All the cousins playing at Hogle Zoo on the weekend of Emma's blessings. Wish we had more times like these.

Daddy Daughter Dates

In the beginning of winter, the girls and their Dad went on some Daddy Daughter dates.
First, Lorelei and Daddy went to their first Boise State game with tickets given to them by our neighbors. They were so excited! It was bitter cold and a very late game but the they handled the discomfort just to have a great time together eating peanuts and enjoying the game.

Then for Meredith's birthday, Daddy took Meredith ice skating for the first time. It's nice to have a dad that's so big and strong.
