This summer we went camping for the first time at Cascade Lake. We went with our friends the Westons who we have gotten to know through their daughter, Cristan, who babysits for us.
It was one hundred degree weather the whole weekend, so needless to say it was extremely hot, but the kids tried to cool off in the shade of our ONE TREE and eating jello while waiting for the adults to set up camp.
After we got everything set up, we found a path to the lake. It was so nice to cool down!

The little man refused to go in the water, but was pretty content playing on the beach blanket.
We had a great time and look forward to next year!
