Our trip to Utah for Father's Day was bittersweet.
Seeing our family whom we missed so much is always the sweetest of moments we have during the year. But celebrating a holiday for the person who it is intended for cannot make a moment more bitter.
So we loaded up in the car so happy to see our loved ones, but so sad to not be able to see Papa when we got there.
There weren't many pictures taken this weekend, though it was important to make sure this special moment was not forgotten and that Nanna was able to have these forever.

Life though bitter, can also be very sweet.
